Author´s note : In this problem Pelle´s theme is perhaps shown for the second time in a threemovers problem. All the moves in thematic variation are made by pinned pieces which continue to be pinned after moving. In my opinion, King´s  flight is excusable in this case,  because of the complexity of the challenge (a priori this difficult theme was not attainable in a threemovers). Perhaps shown for the first time in my problem published in Pat a Mat 107, March 2019, problem 22.

For the attribution  of Pelle´s move to Luca Pacioli (c.1445-1517) see my article: «Luca Pacioli, padre del movimiento Pelle». Sinfonie scacchistiche, 131, Gennaio-Marzo, 2018, pp. 217-220.
